In 2010, Ovecuse Ventures consummated the strategic acquisition of Materiales Profesionales S.A., a Panamanian company formed in July 2002. Prior to that, Materiales Profesionales operated through a number of precursor companies that joined together to form Materiales Profesionales in 2002. The acquisition was made for the strategic imperative of providing the group with an established and accredited local brand with stellar performance in winning and fulfilling tenders with various governmental and institutional clients. For well over a decade, Materiales Profesionales has enjoyed continued successful experience with the main ministries of the federal government of Panama as well as with the municipality of Panama City.
